Coronavirus issue reaches 34 in the United States, and more are expected
At least 34 people in the United States are infected with a coronavirus spread from China.
◘ Twelve infections were detected for passengers who fell ill after returning from abroad for themselves and those two close contacts became infected.
◘ More transmissions are expected between passengers aboard the Diamond Princess cruise ship and those currently in quarantine.
◘ More than 600 people aboard the ship have been infected with the virus, tests showed.
◘ Passengers from the ship accounted for 18 of the 21 migrants in the United States.
10 other passengers of Diamond Princess tested positive for the virus in Japan, but have not yet been counted as infected.
