Construction work of a symbolic site of the holy temple Kailas Mansarovar has started in Banke Banjath. Mansarovar, a holy religious destination of Hindus, has started the process of constructing a symbolic site at Banjinath 6 Lalpur, Mansarovar in Banke, keeping in mind the tourists who want to visit Kailash.

Every year, thousands of tourists visit Kailash, Mansarovar in Tibet, but many cannot travel as long as they would like. Chairman Kafle said that if the symbolic site of Kailash Mansarovar can be built in Banke, tourists can be promoted internally and externally. The plan of the botanical garden has been taken forward under the annual budget program of the Division Forest Office Banke for the fiscal year 2076/77 BS out of the amount allocated by the Ministry of Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment. Mohan Shrestha, Divisional Forest Officer at the Division Forest Office, Banke, said that the construction company has signed an agreement with Raj Nirman Seva Nepalgunj at a cost of Rs. 168,291.
